Omega Collies Perm Reg'd has been in operation since 1974 and is owned by Len and Shirley Perry.
We are located approximately 35 miles north of Toronto on a quiet country road just West of Mount Albert.
Our first two show dogs were purchased from Sue and Carl Boshart of Newdawn Kennels. Newdawn
Collies had a bloodline based on the Sandpiper Collies. In 1975, we purchased Ch. Sandpipers
Aristocrat from Sandpiper Collies.
Type, temperament, health and overall balance are of the greatest importance to us. Using the Breed
Standard as our guide, we breed to maintain these qualities and to have them reproduced in the next
generation. Our breeding program has been small with an average of two litters per year. With this limited
amount of breeding, we have been very successful; and have produced over fifty Canadian Champions
and many American Champions. We show in Canada and the United States, and have had many
outstanding wins. Some of which include: Best in Specialty at the Collie Club Of Canada, Winners Bitch
at the Collie Club of America, Group wins, several Best Puppy in Show, Kem Memorial Sweeps winners,
and multi Specialty wins in both countries. We are members of the Collie Club of Canada, the Collie Club
of America, the Canadian Kennel Club, Dominion Collie and Shetland Sheepdog Association, Canadian
Collie and Shetland Sheepdog Association and the Georgina Kennel Club..
