Ch. Omega Someone Special (Ellie May) a breeders dream. Ellie has done it all.
Co-bred with Laurie Dodge of Laud Collies, Ellie is the result of many years of
breeding. Her mother Ch. Omega In Style when bred to Am. Ch. Fantasy's Bronze
Talisman ROM combines over 60 years of breeding top champion bloodlines. Her
father Bronze Talisman is currently the top sire in the United States and is
working towards top sire all time with over 160 champions to his credit at this
time.
In the show ring Ellemay continued to carry the Omega Collies to new heights,
with her fabulous temperament, showmanship and second to none structure and
movement. Her record to date includes; number 2 collie in Canada for 2002,
number one collie in Canada for 2003 and 2004 with over 60 group placements
including many Group 1 st, Three Specialty Best Of Breeds under Tom Coen,
Barry Hastings and Maureen Barrell as well as all breed Best In Shows at the
Credit Valley Kennel Club show Dec. 2002 under Mr. Morley Thornton and Best In
Show at Forest City Kennel Club under Mr. Tom Burke in October 2005 and again
at Kawatha Kennel Club under Mr. Al Bennett. Elle finished her show career by
going Best of Breed at CCSSA National Specialty as a veteran under Maureen
Burrell in 2009.
In 2005 Ellemay took a break from the ring to pursue motherhood. She has
produce an amazing sixteen Champions, making her the top producing Collie
bitch in Canadian History.
Elle is now retired, and will remain here at Omega. Her legacy will live forever..
