April loved to show and always brought a laugh or two from ringside, when she started her bouncing act. She truly was born to be a show dog, and with her love of people, she drew attention where ever, she went. She was last shown in the mid eighties but is still remembered by most that knew her. April was a Best Puppy in Show Winner, with many other outstanding wins to her credit, including group placements. Although she never completed her US title, she did win 13 US points that included three majors.

April was an outstanding producer and can be found, in the pedigrees of several dogs of note. She was the dam of;
