At the tender age of 10 months, Style started her show career at the 1988 Collie Club of America National Specialty Show. She was awarded Winners Bitch under the well know judge Mr.George Horn and Best Puppy under Mr.George Soellner. Following the National Specialty Show, the judges said it best. Chip and Pat Atkins wrote, in their We Judged from Outside the ring report. "But the stand out in that class of 28 bitches was a "show stealer"- with energy plus, standing four square, beautiful balance, good muzzle, nice expression, made the most of everything, never quit showing."
George Horn wrote, "This bitch made a picture that fairly screamed "type" to all who saw her. A long lean head with classic profile was set off by lovely eyes, and ears. Her neck was beautifully arched and her backline solid as a rock. She commanded attention."
George Soellner wrote, "There was one in particular who stands out in my mind - one who on the given day, Had It All. - balance, type, expression and an exuberant personality."
In just over two months of showing, Style completed her American and Canadian championships, her Canadian wins included Best of Winners at the D.C.S.S.A. Specialty Show and a Best Puppy In Group.
